Vibrant Matters

Our lives are full of uneventful moments that are not noted in our memories, yet these time periods make up the majority of our existences. We can total our days, months, or years by a collection of emotional markers but the stretches in between are ignored in our recollections. With my work, I am attempting to give recognition to these intervals in our lives by using often forgotten and discarded domestic materials to create emotional artifacts. Cardboard, tetra packs, packaging equipment, are so ubiquitous that their existence is mostly ignored, however they often contain an intrinsic, subtle beauty that simply needs to be revealed.
